If you're a Democrat, this Tuesday you'll have the chance to vote in an
election that many of us believed we might not see in our lifetime. It's a remarkable opportunity, and I hope that each of you will take the trip in the rain to the polls to ensure your voice is heard.
In November of last year we faced a similar choice: one candidate offered experience and familiarity, while another offered hope, vision and change. In the end, Fitchburg overwhelmingly decided that hope and vision were worth a vote, that political oneupsmanship was less valuable than progress, and that the candidate most vested in the status quo may not the best agent for change.
Make the time to vote. This is the big one.
